i ruined my four favorite shirts in the wash today. they’re the ones with the horizontal stripes and white collars… and I washed them with a redred shirt. I hate that red shirt.

so mike the bassist from common rotation called me two days ago. common rotation is that band I saw a couple of weeks ago that I really really love now! see my blogger bit here.

me: hello?
mike the bassist: hi, this is mike from common rotation?
me: -blinks- (commawha? wait! remembers! mike the bassist!!) OHH!! hi mike~!!!

so we’re definitely off on the right foot! he goes ahead and mentions that there’s a show this sunday and that I should go and bring my friends! but I had to tell him I couldn’t since I was going home this weekend, and I booked the flight way in advance. >_

although I promised myself that I would study tonight, I ended up sleeping most of the day away and as a result, felt pretty energetic by evening. so instead of sitting at home and studying, i ended up going to josh and deeps’ place for dinner.. and ended up staying to watch wonder boys and memento. Wonder Boys is now one of my new favorite movies (after, in no particular order, American Beauty, Dead Poets Society, Happy Gilmore, Memento.. and a whole slew I can’t think of right this moment!). I’ll write more on this later.

Memento, once again, was amazing. you notice much more the second time around, although I won’t put it here for those who haven’t seen it yet. :) spoilers are never any fun!

I’ve been studying all week and I’m tiiiiiiired of it. lately I’ve been looking for things to pass the time. i painted my nails the other day. they are now a startling dark fuschia. nail polish looks really strange on my nails. I’ve also tried to install some games on my computer, but I can’t seem to develop any interest in any of them. I try to browse online and read various trashy websites, but all I seem to care about is going to study. what the heck is going on?! I’m tired of it now, dammit! why am I still thinking “schooooool….”?

so I’ve been making a concerted effort *not* to study, which has never been hard in the past, but for some reason, it’s different now. I can’t even concentrate on what i’m distracting myself with. GAH!

I give up. I’m going to shower.
