photoblogging.. and other stuff

1. the irony of me getting set up with flickr is that i have no means of digital photography at this time. my digicam is up in sacramento. I don’t have a camera phone (although I could get a camera attachment for 50 bucks). ok, actually, i can probably get an attachment for $30… or would it be time to suck it up and buy a new digital camera? the 2 megapixel/2x zoom on my elph is really showing its age…

2. QA or PR? which way do i go?

3. life sucks when you are all set to do a windows reinstall and you can’t find your xp disk…

4. does anyone want pixies tickets for the greek theater in berkeley this weekend (sunday 9/26)? i don’t think jer and i are gonna be able to make it. leave a comment if you or someone you know would like to take them off our hands. face value.

5. oh yeah, and we got the star wars box set on dvd yesterday. hee.

“I went out for a McDonald’s commercial, and I was asked by the casting director to eat a Big Mac the way a Chinese person would,” says Tim Dang, producing artistic director for the Los Angeles–based theatre company East West Players. “And I said, ‘What do you mean, like, with a chopstick?’ I don’t know that the casting director was even aware of what he said, but it was, like, ‘Do you know how funny that sounds?’ Like we have different ways of eating other than through our mouths.”
